Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Jeuveau

Neuromodulators work by temporarily relaxing muscles of the face that cause lines and wrinkles. Common areas treated are horizontal forehead lines, furrow/frown lines between the brows, and crows feet. We also specialize in advanced injection techniques using neuromodulators to treat off-label areas such as jawline, neck, nose, bunny lines, etc

Every treatment is customized to your unique facial anatomy and muscle movement. We will help you choose a neuromodulator right for you at your appointment.

FAQs

  • Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles—those caused by repetitive facial expressions like frowning, squinting, and raising your eyebrows. Common brands include Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify®.

Neuromodulators block the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. By relaxing these muscles, the skin above them smooths out, creating a more refreshed, youthful, and relaxed appearance—without changing your natural facial expressions when done properly.

  • Results typically last:

    • Botox® / Dysport® / Xeomin® / Jeuveau®: 3–4 months

    • Daxxify®: 6 months (in many patients)

Longevity depends on your metabolism, treatment area, dosage, and lifestyle. Most patients return every 3–4 months for maintenance. With consistent treatment, some patients may find they need less product over time.

  • Before Your Treatment

    • You’ll start with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals, facial anatomy, and medical history.

    • Avoid alcohol, blood thinners (if approved by your provider), and supplements like fish oil or vitamin E for 24–48 hours before your appointment to minimize bruising.

    • Arrive with a clean face — no makeup is ideal.

    During Your Treatment

    • The treatment itself is quick, typically 10–15 minutes.

    • Your injector will use a very fine needle to place small amounts of Botox into targeted muscles.

    • Most patients describe the sensation as a tiny pinch — discomfort is minimal and well tolerated.

    • You’ll be able to return to your normal activities immediately after.

    After Your Treatment

    • Avoid lying flat, strenuous exercise, and rubbing the treated areas for about 4 hours.

    • Results begin to appear within 3–5 days, with full results visible around 10–14 days.

    • You may experience mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection sites — these usually resolve within an hour.

    • Results typically last 3–4 months, and maintenance treatments help preserve your smooth, refreshed look.

  • Yes. Neuromodulators such as Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify® are FDA-approved not only for cosmetic wrinkle reduction but also for several medical and therapeutic conditions.

    These treatments may help with:

    • Chronic migraines

    • Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the underarms, hands, or feet

    • Jaw clenching and teeth grinding (TMJ/bruxism)

    • Facial muscle asymmetry

    • Neck pain, muscle spasms, and tension

Neuromodulators work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles, reducing overactivity and improving both appearance and quality of life.
